Its integrated upfiring height driver works with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X processors or receivers to add vertical imaging to multichannel soundtracks. The driver array is designed for a flat frequency response in the listening window and includes four 6.5" high-excursion woofers, a 2" cloth-dome midrange and a 1" silk-dome tweeter. The woofers have long-fiber pulp cones, NBR surrounds and shorting rings intended to reduce distortion during extended excursion. The HDF cabinet, rather than MDF, has internal bracing to reduce unwanted resonance.
