It is described as a free-branching deciduous shrub from East Asia with bright green variegated leaves and creamy margins. Long flower clusters bloom white, then develop pale purple or pink tones in summer and persist until frost. It grows 2' to 3' tall and spreads 3' to 4', with 3' spacing recommended.
The listing gives US Hardiness Zones 7 to 10, lists full shade or part sun, and says blooms are best in part sun and rich, moist, acidic, well-drained soil. Summer and fall are its seasons of interest. Medium maintenance includes mulching for moisture and winter protection; prune after flowering if needed.
