For live playing or recording, the onboard Fishman preamp connects to an amp or mixer. Its 3-band EQ adjusts bass, midrange and treble, while feedback control helps prevent squealing at high volume. A slim mahogany neck with profiled shoulders and a 1 875-inch nut width pairs with a smooth rosewood fingerboard, 20 nickel frets and a 25 5-inch scale. High-ratio, die-cast tuners help keep all 12 strings in tune. A rosewood bridge and Tusq nut and saddle transfer string vibration to the body; the hardware is nickel.
