Minecraft Volume Beta C418 Vinyl sku-5930965820 617308071535
No rating yet(0 ratings)Minecraft Volume Beta is a soundtrack by composer and producer Daniel Rosenfeld, who records as C418. This Warp Speed colored vinyl double LP is listed under Soundtracks: Vinyl Records as sku-5930965820, UPC 617308071535.
Rosenfeld's instrumental work ranges from electronic pop and neo-classical music to ambient pieces that have drawn comparisons to Erik Satie in The Guardian and Brian Eno in VICE, beyond the usual 8-bit label for game music. In 2015, after Rosenfeld self-released Minecraft Volume Alpha and Volume Beta, Ghostly International reissued Volume Alpha on vinyl and CD.
That release drew attention from music critics and gaming fans and was restocked several times. Originally self-released in 2013, Volume Beta was Rosenfeld's longest collection at nearly 140 minutes. It contains music added to Minecraft during updates, along with tracks that never officially entered the game. The double LP adapts the running time for vinyl; digital downloads contain the full set.
