MICROVISOR MVSB-30W-1 White Hood sku-486927550 Extension

The White MICROVISOR MVSB-30W-1 is a removable over-the-range microwave hood extension listed under Kitchen Appliances, SKU sku-486927550, UPC 691035547143. It is a hood extension, not a microwave. The hood comes in 4 color options, and this White version has a semigloss finish designed to coordinate with surrounding appliances. It can be removed in seconds for cleaning.

MICROVISOR says it installs in minutes on current and past models covering 99% of the over-the-range microwave market. Installation involves connecting the hood to a bracket beneath the microwave; it needs no electrical connections, components or filters. The recommended clearance between the cooktop and microwave chassis is 15 inches or more.

The hood is designed for a standard 30-inch over-the-range microwave. It captures rising cooking fumes and vapors and directs them back toward the exhaust, reducing smoke, odors and cooking-triggered fire alarms. Samsung models with center slide-in/out grease filters require the Samsung adapter, Samadapt, which is not included. GE units with curved doors require the GEADAPT adapter.
