Still-image resolutions are 12 million and 9 million pixels (interpolated), 5 million, 3 million, 1.3 million and VGA. Shutter speeds run from 1 second to 1/1000 second; focus distance is 10 to 30 mm / 0.39 to 1.2 in.
Buttons control image storage and 4x digital zoom. Magnification is approximately 20-fold or 200-fold, and 500-fold at 5-megapixel resolution. Software supports measurements of distances and surfaces in an enlarged view, and capture software records VGA or QVGA video. The microscope has dual-axis 27X and 100X lenses and 8 white LEDs.
It stores images without a PC on MicroSD cards up to 32 GB and connects by USB 2.0; USB 1.1 gives reduced resolution.
