Engineered for high-SPL performance, the MJP1522 incorporates DVVC (Direct Vent Voice Coil Cooling) paired with cross-drilled front-plate venting to keep the voice coil cooler under heavy use. An aluminum shorting ring is included to reduce inductance and improve motor linearity. The driver uses a rigid paper cone with a foam surround and a progressive spider to control excursion. Built on a diecast basket, it also features single-sided compression terminals for secure wiring.
