The Soleá Line cajon has been artisan designed by master cajon builder José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz The Soleá Line features two groupings of four pre-tuned metal micro-coiled cajon strings These strings are hand-wound and span across the inside of the playing surface Inside the Soleá Line cajons is a special bass reflex system that enhances low end notes for a deeper bass sound Rounded corners and thumb notches on the top of the frontplate optimize playing comfort and sound The 9-ply, 12 mm thick Baltic birch resonating body develops the sound into a full, punchy tone that projects with clarity and warmth The Soleá Line cajon is made in Spain When amplification is needed, inside the cajon is a Piezo pickup, with tone and volume control on the outside A quarter inch cable port allows you to send your signal through any amp or PA system
