It can run in alternating or static pressure mode and is designed to prevent, treat and manage pressure ulcers at home, in long-term care or in acute care. Its quilted, zippered nylon cover is low shear, fluid resistant and vapor permeable. Each of the 20 air bladders is 8 inches deep and can be removed and replaced through quick disconnects.
A pillow function keeps the 3 air cells at the head of the bed in static mode for patient comfort. Comfort settings are adjustable, and a CPR valve allows rapid deflation.
