This new 1/200-scale Gemini 200 series model is white with a Green tail. It comes in its original unopened box with a display stand. The exterior has scale detailing, and the model has no openings. Made of diecast metal with some plastic parts, it measures approximately 9.25 inches long with a 6.5 inches wingspan. Reno Air was a low-cost carrier based in Reno, Nevada. From 1992 until its merger with American Airlines in 1999, it served routes between the western United States and destinations including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Seattle. N905RA flew frequent Reno Air routes and later served briefly in American Airlines' fleet before being phased out. The MD-90 was a mid-sized, narrow-body successor to the MD-80. Its International Aero Engines V2500 turbofans were more powerful, quieter and more fuel efficient than engines on earlier models, helping Reno Air compete on operating costs. Its range supported frequent service, while its cabin was quieter and offered more spacious seating configurations. Newer Boeing and Airbus aircraft eventually displaced the MD-90.
