The high-frequency section uses an IPX68 rated 1 inch Titanium Dome tweeter with a Waterproof Coated Silk Surround for clear, weatherproof treble. Low-end and midrange are handled by an Injection Molded Composite Polypropylene Cone that delivers impactful bass while minimizing cone flex that can cause distortion or sloppy bass. Co-Molded Santoprene Surrounds bond the cone and surround to maximize bass output and remain impervious to outdoor conditions, including cold temperatures. Molded Polymer Sealing gaskets isolate the speaker from the mounting surface to reduce water intrusion.
