The enclosure supports PCIe NVMe M.2 drives (2242/2260/2280) up to 10Gbps; SATA drives are not supported. Please format a newly installed SSD to exFAT before first use. Video & multi-monitor: The hub includes a 4K@60Hz HDMI output and a USB-C to Host port (up to 10Gbps) to extend your Mac mini. When you use the hub’s HDMI together with the Mac mini M4’s HDMI, the system supports SST or MST for running two displays. Note on audio/outputs: if multiple HDMI and audio outputs are active at once, only the first-selected output will function. To change the audio output, open Audio MIDI Setup and choose the desired device. Storage details: Supports M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs up to 4TB and 10Gbps transfer rates. Compatible M.2 lengths: 2242, 2260, and 2280. SSD is sold separately; SATA M.2 SSDs are not compatible. Ports & performance: Three USB-A 2.0 ports (Max 480Mbps) provide reliable connectivity for mouse, keyboard and other peripherals while minimizing interference with Mac mini Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth. SD and Micro SD card slots support up to 104 Mbps. A 3.5mm audio/mic jack is included for convenient headset or speaker connections. All USB-A ports are data-only and do not provide charging.
