M31-XXXA0008G-L Remote IO Module — 8AO RS485, 433M 30dbm LoRa, Ethernet RJ45, Modbus RTU/TCP

Overview: M31 series distributed I/O host designed for long-range LoRa wireless transmission (433M, 30dbm). It can communicate directly with E90-DTU data transmission radios and supports standard Modbus protocol with protocol conversion between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU for acquisition and control tasks. Interfaces & Access: Provides RS485 acquisition/control I/O and an Ethernet RJ45 network port that collects and controls I/O. The network interface allows up to 5 simultaneous host/client connections (5-way access). Protocol & Compatibility: Full support for Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU, compatible with common configuration software, PLCs and touch screens. Custom Modbus address assignment is supported and the unit accepts 8 baud rate configurations. Networking & IP: Supports both DHCP and static IP addressing modes for flexible network setup. Expansion & Mounting: In distributed I/O mode the host can link up to 16 I/O expansion modules. The unit’s mechanical design supports mounting with positioning holes and guide rails. Function Codes & Clients: The device supports Modbus function codes 01/02/03/04/05/06/15/16 and allows simultaneous access by 5 clients. Design: Built with a scalable structural design to facilitate expansion and integration into larger monitoring and control systems.
