Florida Foliage Pink Sun Exposure Plants sku-3461872276

Florida Foliage Sun Exposure listing sku-3461872276, UPC 600181380641, contains 40 live Pink Plum Delight Loropetalum plants. Also called Hines Purpleleaf and Pizzazz, this Chinese fringe flower has dark pink, fringe-like flowers resembling witch hazel blooms. It flowers several times a year and may flower during warm winter spells.

Reddish-purple foliage keeps its color on old and new growth, though the shrub loses some leaves in winter. New growth is nearly as vivid as the flowers. Plum Delight has a tight, arching growth habit and typically reaches 6-8 feet in height and width; it may grow taller without pruning. It can be kept as a large hedge with frequent pruning and grows rapidly.

It is suited to hardiness Zones 7-9 and may adapt to zone 6b if sheltered from north wind. Plant in full sun to part shade. In shade, growth is looser and flowering is reduced. Late-summer pruning can cause damage if new growth does not harden off.
