Unbranded Black Pine Straw Landscaping sku-18333121952

This Unbranded Black Landscaping long leaf pine straw bale is listed as a 24.5-inch bale, SKU sku-18333121952 and UPC 768307669374. A hand-baled bundle measures about 14 x 14 x 28 inches and weighs about 12.5 pounds. Spread at a 1-inch depth, it covers up to 70 square feet. The straw deters weeds, insulates roots against temperature extremes and reduces moisture loss from soil.

It allows water into the soil while reducing runoff and erosion from wind and rain. The needles interlock on slopes and are less likely than other mulches to wash away in heavy rain. Old straw need not be removed before a new application. It can be used in outdoor areas as mulch, a soil amendment or fall decoration.
