YGE 6600 Motor Oil 5 L 113523712425 sku-16125152188

YGE Motor Oil: Liqui Moly Top Tec 6600 SAE 0W-20, a fully synthetic engine oil in a 5 L container. Product SKU: sku-16125152188; UPC: 113523712425; title SKU: 22046. BMW Longlife-17 FE+ approval is intended to reduce the risk of low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI), when the mixture ignites in the combustion chamber at low speeds before the spark. LSPI can cause engine knocking and serious damage.

The source says the phenomenon is entirely understood yet and that the right oil can reduce the risk. It also states that no BMW models require only Longlife-17 FE+ oil while being compatible with another oil. The oil is described as backward compatible and as required under certain circumstances when an older Longlife standard is specified.
