An alkaline mineral restoration filter adds calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium and other minerals found in natural mineral water to replace minerals removed by RO; the listing describes these minerals as necessary for human development and health. The system uses a high-rejection reverse osmosis membrane with film by GE USA.

Its manual flush valve is described as extending unit life, reducing possible leaks and saving time when the system is flushed every few months. Installation takes roughly 5-10 minutes.
