Linon New Flokati Natural Area Rug

A combination of timeless appeal and lasting function, the Linon New Flokati Natural Area Rug is an enduring accessory that will outlast many a short-lived trend. An age-old Greek tradition that dates back to the 5th century A.D., Flokati rugs were the creation of the shepherds of Samarina, who used these rugs primarily as clothing and bedding to stay warm during the harsh winter months.

In the United States, Flokati rugs have gained in popularity ever since shag style rugs became all the rage during the 1970s. Hand-woven in Greece of 100% New Zealand wool, this beautiful rug features a durable polypropylene warp with wool weft backing that ensures it lasts for years.

The neutral natural color goes with most color schemes and settings, while the 1.5-inch pile height offers a luxurious, retro shag feel. To preserve the beauty and color of this rug, professionally dry-clean as needed. Available in a selection of sizes to match your setting, this area rug is sure to make a great addition to your home.
