Compact preamp adapter with XLR/6.35mm inputs (6.35mm for instrument) for connecting professional microphones and guitars to iPhone, Android smartphones, Nikon/Canon cameras and DSLRs. 48V phantom power is available (supplied by a 9V battery), allowing use with any XLR condenser microphone. The unit features selectable mobile phone and camera output modes — be sure to set the phone/camera switch to the correct position for your device. A Mic/Smartphone monitoring switch plus a 3.5mm headphone output provide real-time monitoring of microphone and smartphone audio (NOTE: in camera output mode only microphone real-time monitoring is supported). Audio sensitivity and level are controlled via a gain control knob for easy volume adjustment. For convenient placement, the adapter includes a belt-clamp and magic-tape; you can hang the belt clamp on a belt or thread the magic-tape through the fixing slot and attach it to the fixture.
