The Lindsay LSA84 is a 4-port digital signal amplifier/booster/splitter (one input, four outputs) with passive return, designed for HDTV, cable TV and OTA antenna systems. Compatibility and purpose: - Works with all standard and digital cable TV services and OTA (over-the-air) antenna reception. - Not compatible with systems that already have an amplifier or pre-amplifier. Not compatible with satellite systems and not MoCA compatible. - Intended to boost an otherwise good signal; it is NOT designed to correct a weak incoming signal. Performance notes: - Helps prevent image pixelation on digital cable and boosts antenna (OTA) signals for distribution to multiple TVs. - May improve cable modem performance and HDTV reception in multi-device setups.
