Lifetime 44" Black Portable Basketball Hoop sku-16375705117

The Lifetime Black 44" Basketball hoop, model 90759, is a Unisex portable system, sku-16375705117, UPC 466805275676, supplied with 16oz H2OLD Base Gel. Its high-density polyethylene backboard has UV-protected screen-printed graphics. The 18-inch rim has a 5/8-inch steel ring, 1/2-inch braces and an all-weather net.

A powder-coated 3 pc steel pole adjusts the rim from 7.5 to 10 feet in 6-inch increments without tools. The base holds 27 gallons of sand or water; no cement is required. Base Gel is a cross-linked polyacrylate polymer that can replace ballast for this hoop or other portable supports.

It absorbs up to 400 times its weight in water, resists leaks from small base holes or cracks, withstands freezing and thawing, and can remain gel for 7 years or more. A 16-ounce bottle replaces up to 8 bags of sand. For use, add about 2/3 of the dry gel, fill the base 1/2 full with water, add the rest, then fill with water, leaving 1/2 inch of air space. It gels in 5 to 10 minutes.

Salt dissolves the gel back into liquid for removal. H2OLD, LLC develops superabsorbent polymer products.
