Designed for the Nikon AF-S 55-300mm f/4-5.6G ED VR, this LensCoat® telephoto lens cover shields your lens from scrapes and bumps to help preserve its resale value. The cover also breaks up the lens silhouette to make it less conspicuous to wildlife and provides a more comfortable grip while shooting. It leaves autofocus controls accessible so you can operate AF without removing the cover. A notch on the last segment lines up with the lens' white-dot mount indicator, allowing quick alignment with your camera even when the cover is installed. The kit includes an optional Velcro-backed piece to cover the fixed portion of the lens barrel when the lens is fully extended.
