What is Customer Questions & Answers?

Customer Questions & Answers lets registered customers ask product-specific questions and share answers based on their experience. Questions and answers appear after moderation.

Ask about the product itself, especially details another customer may know from using it. For example: Does this camera take good pictures in low light? How long does this laptop battery last while watching movies? Does this computer have noisy cooling fans?

Portable, durable design: The X1 Yoga Gen 4 uses a lightweight aluminum chassis that is 17% smaller than the previous model and weighs just 2.99lb/1.35kg. It can run for up to 18 hours on a single charge. When you need a fast top-up, Rapid Charge restores the battery to 80% in 60 minutes, providing an additional 14.4 hours of use.* Based on testing with MobileMark 2014. Battery life varies significantly with settings, usage, and other factors. Performance and storage: Equipped with 8th Gen Intel Core processors and ample memory, this convertible delivers responsive performance for demanding tasks. A PCIe NVMe solid-state drive (256 GB) provides quick boot and load times while supporting TCG Opal encryption. Integrated pen and creative tools: A rechargeable ThinkPad Pen Pro is included and charges while stored in its built-in garaged slot, so you can sketch, annotate, sign documents, and take notes without worrying about batteries or misplacing the pen. Display options: Choose an optional 4K HDR panel with Dolby Vision for richer colors, greater contrast and improved brightness, or select the FHD 14" IPS touchscreen (1920 x 1080) with PrivacyGuard if screen privacy is a priority. Audio and voice: The Dolby Atmos Speaker System combines two up-firing speakers above the keyboard with two down-firing woofers below for immersive sound. Four 360-degree microphones reduce background noise on calls and pick up voice from across the room, enabling voice-activated commands. Built for extremes: Like other ThinkPad systems, the X1 Yoga Gen 4 is validated against 12 military-grade requirements and more than 200 quality checks to ensure reliability in harsh environments—from Arctic cold to desert dust, spills, drops and more. Connectivity: When cellular service is needed, an optional LTE-A card with WWAN lets the laptop connect like a smartphone; WWAN must be configured at time of purchase, as it is not upgradeable. Security features: The ThinkShield suite protects both device and data. A discrete Trusted Platform Module (dTPM) encrypts information and integrates with Windows 10 security. ThinkShutter provides a physical camera cover, and a fingerprint reader enables biometric sign-in. PrivacyGuard is an electronic privacy filter built into the display, and PrivacyAlert software works with the IR camera to warn you if someone is looking over your shoulder.* (PrivacyAlert requires the optional IR camera.) What's included: Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (4th Gen) 20QF, 4-cell battery, ThinkPad Pen Pro, USB-C power adapter.
