Lees Tackle RH577V Beige Unisex Holder Size 1 sku-33274655

Lees Tackle RH577V is a Beige, size 1, Unisex swivel-base rod holder listed in Fishing & Boating Clearance (sku-33274655; UPC 096811517707). Designed primarily for bent butt tackle, its vertical 0° holder lets the rod butt turn under side pressure so the tip can follow a fish. This can reduce pressure on the holder pin and help keep the line on the tip roller.

It also makes the rod easier to remove. The holder works as a standard holder with straight butt rods, which can be rotated by hand. Swivel resistance is adjusted through two nylon drag washers and a 1/2 inch stainless steel lock nut. The source notes its use in Giant Blue Fin Tuna fishing, where reel drags around 60 pounds are common.
