By taking over the lowest frequencies, the ICOA SUB reduces the load on your main speakers’ woofers, increasing headroom and lowering intermodulation distortion so vocals and instruments remain clear even at high volume. The built-in DynX DSP gives you precise control over the subwoofer’s behavior. Choose from presets and set crossover points at 80, 100 or 120 Hz, reverse signal polarity if needed, or apply the delay line preset for speaker distances up to 10 meters. Multiple ICOA SUBs can be connected in parallel to scale output, and a dedicated cardioid preset lets you shape the low-frequency dispersion: place the additional subwoofers beside the main unit facing rearwards and enable the cardioid mode to reduce bass behind the PA while preserving forward punch. The enclosure is constructed from 18 mm laminated wood for durability and stackability; an M20 threaded top allows main loudspeakers to be mounted on a distance pole. Transport and setup are simplified by rear-mounted rollers and corner protectors, while four aluminum handles with rubber covers provide secure handling.
