Direct replacement speaker LC18-4002-4Ω designed for the 18" Mackie Thump18S powered subwoofer. Nominal diameter: 457mm / 18in with a power rating of 1000W RMS and a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms. Sensitivity is 96dB and the usable frequency range spans 30-2500Hz. The driver uses a 100mm / 4in voice coil with a winding width of 25mm / 0.99in, mounted on a glass fibre former and wound with round copper. It is built on a cast aluminium chassis and employs a ferrite magnet weighing 3.1kg / 110oz; gap depth is 9.5mm / 0.37in and Xmax is 8mm / 0.33in. Cone construction is glass-loaded paper treated with weather-resistant impregnation, paired with a cloth-sealed surround and a double suspension for improved durability and excursion control.
