The Black LAUNCH X431 V Pro 4.0 is a Diagnostic and Test Tools scanner, SKU sku-2524956992, UPC 756029686403. It scans available vehicle ECUs and modules, reads DTCs and data streams, graphs live data, performs active tests and supports ECU coding. Its 37+ reset and relearn services are described as covering 99 percent of daily workshop maintenance.

Bi-directional tests can operate relays, injectors, coils, valves and other actuators without using the vehicle controls; the stated testing time is 5 minutes. Menu-guided ECU procedures include flashing, matching, calibration, recoding and relearning. Coding can change supported vehicle settings and reprogram adaptive data after repairs.
