LAUNCH added advanced ECU coding in Sept. 2022 for matching replacement components, changing OE settings, enabling hidden features, and customization or retrofits. A 2024 update added Programmable Module Installation for Ford, Lincoln, and Mazda, among others. The scanner has 31+ reset services covering adaptation, calibration, initialization, relearning, and matching.

Other functions include Auto VIN, automatic health reports, an 8-in-1 graph display, data recording, replay, screenshots, report sharing and printing, online feedback, OBD2 functions, battery voltage monitoring, DTC lookup, and one-click WiFi updates.

Coverage is stated as 150+ makes and 100000+ American, Asian, European, and Brazilian models from 1996 through 2023 and 2024, including 12V cars, light-duty trucks, and SUVs. FCA AutoAuth supports applicable Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, and other FCA vehicles after 2017; an AutoAuth account must be purchased separately.

CAN FD and DoIP are supported without a separate adapter, described as saving over 200 bucks. The scanner runs Android 10.0 and has a 6100mAh battery, a 7-inch touchscreen, 3G/32G memory, and 2.4G and 5G dual WiFi. Its 5G WiFi connection is stated to connect automatically within 20 meters.
