Ask about the product itself, especially details another customer may know from using it. For example: Does this camera take good pictures in low light? How long does this laptop battery last while watching movies? Does this computer have noisy cooling fans?

The Yellow LAUNCH CRE For Benz scanner is listed under Diagnostic and Test Tools, SKU sku-5053075038, UPC 756029680982. The source title calls it a 2024 X431 scanner. It diagnoses available Mercedes-Benz electronic control systems, including ECM, ABS, SRS, TCM, ESP, ISM, ESM, ES, TPMS and BMS, and can read or erase codes, show live data and retrieve ECU version information.

Its OBD2 functions include an on-board monitor test (mode 6), EVAP test (mode 8) and O2 sensor test. It works with OBD II-compliant 1996 and newer 12V gasoline and diesel vehicles. It offers 31+ maintenance functions, including ABS bleeding; NOX sensor, oil lamp, Adblue, TPMS, IMMO and SAS resets; EGR adaptation; DPF regeneration; sunroof and electronic throttle sensor resets; injector coding; seat calibration; stop/start reset; and transport mode.

Bi-directional active tests send commands to the ECU to operate components such as the radiator fan, windows and mirrors while reading ECU data and monitoring their operation. ECU coding can recode adaptive data after repairs or replacement, enable hidden features, or disable functions such as parking assistance and A/C; the source also mentions automatic side-mirror folding.

Auto-VIN identifies the vehicle's make, model and year and generates a full-system health report. A DTC library supplies trouble-code definitions. Diagnostic history saves prior data and lets users review a report or resume a test. Data streams can appear as figures, values or 4 streams on one graph; screenshots can be viewed and managed.

The tool runs Android on a 4-core 1.3 GHz processor, with 1 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, a 4-inch LCD touchscreen at 480 x 800 pixels and hotkeys. Wi-Fi is 802.11b/g/n, and the USB connection is TYPE-C. The OBD II input range is 9-18V; power can come from a DC 5V data cable or a diagnostic cable connected to the vehicle's DLC.
