Made in the USA ControlLights TM series permanent-mount spotlight with rear-mounted control arm for manual aim and elevation. This PML-4400-F-WHT integrates a high-output 35 watt HID Xenon D2 type lamp into Larson Electronics' ControlLight family to provide a bright, lightweight searchlight that the operator moves with the handle directly behind the lamp head. Because the beam is positioned by hand rather than by motors, the user has immediate, tactile control over rotation and elevation — similar to traditional tower searchlights used in corrections or security applications. The light mounts to a 4 inch square permanent base secured with four corner bolts. Once the operator places the beam, the unit holds its position; the tension can be adjusted to increase or decrease position-holding force depending on vibration in the installation environment. Typical uses include military spotlights, searchlights, utility spotlights, roof-mount spotlights, hunting spotlights, work lights and linesman lights.
