This submersible pump can also be used on land, but note that all water pumps do not have self-priming capability — when installed on land the pump should be positioned lower than the water level line. It will still operate in less-than-ideal sunlight: for slightly weak sunshine the 20W one plus two solar panel option can be used, while a 10W solar panel can be used when the sun is fierce.
