The Kyocera DuraXE Epic E4830 is a Black AT&T Flip Phones model with 16GB of storage. Its chamfered corners aid grip. The phone is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, is drop-proof up to 1.5m (5 ft) onto concrete, and meets MIL-STD-810H protections against dust, shock, vibration and temperature extremes. HazLok protection is intended for potentially hazardous locations.

For communication, it supports AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk over cellular or Wi-Fi for an LMR network, with a dedicated PTT connection through a 5-pole headset jack and camlock for accessories. It has dual front-facing speakers, dual-mic noise cancellation, HD voice calling, Wireless Priority Service with eMPS and Real-Time Text.

The main menu, fonts and programmable Push-to-Talk, SOS, Speaker, Call List and 4-way Navigation keys can be customized. Device Control lets businesses restrict features, while Car Kit Power On/Off mode works with a compatible vehicle cradle.
