Control the Kwikset Halo remotely using the Kwikset app whenever you have an Internet connection. Lock and unlock the deadbolt from your smartphone and manage access on the go. Program up to 250 custom user codes to share with family, friends, or guests, and use the app to create, disable, or delete codes as needed. Set time-based schedules for individual user codes from your phone and review the lock’s event history in the app. Receive real-time notifications of lock activity on your smartphone through the Kwikset app. The touchscreen keypad includes a One-Touch Locking button for quick securing. Security features include Kwikset-patented technology that prevents against advanced break-in techniques, a tamper resistant interior cover, and traditional keyed operation for backup access. The lock provides audible beeps and a visual flash when batteries run low, and if 3 consecutive incorrect codes are entered an alarm sounds; the keypad can also be temporarily disabled to prevent unwanted entry.
