Kwik Safety KS6603 Yellow 1 Pack Harness sku-584731193

The Kwik Safety HURRICANE KS6603 is a Yellow, 1 Pack full-body harness in the Personal Protective Equipment category, with premium back support. Its fluorescent, water-repellent synthetic straps are made from non-recycled material and stitched for resistance to ageing, heat and abrasion.

It has 2 side D rings and 1 dorsal ring for fall arrest attachment, travel restraint and rescue, plus 4 pass-through buckles at the hips, chest and legs. It can be used with compatible lanyards, energy absorbers and lifelines. The adjustable harness fits users weighing 130 to 310 pounds (59 to 140 kg) and standing 4'10" to 6'6" (147 to 198 centimeters).

For fit, connect the buckles, snug the leg and shoulder straps, and center the chest strap. Kwik Safety says its harnesses have undergone ANSI/ASSE Z359.11-2014 qualification and verification testing and that the HURRICANE exceeds that standard.

The listing calls it OSHA approved and says a personal fall arrest system is required when working 6 ft or more above lower levels; it also gives this threshold as 6ft. Listed uses include roofing, ironwork, construction, arborist work, high-rise window and gutter cleaning, thatching, and search and rescue. See the compliance label for more information.
