It grinds low-moisture, non-oily grains including wheat, corn, rye, oats, rice, buckwheat, barley and millet. For fine flour, grind twice. Do not grind more than 10 cups of flour at a time; after 10 cups, let the mixer cool for at least 45 minutes. The mill is not suitable for nuts, coffee beans, sesame seeds, peanuts, sunflower seeds, soybeans or other high-moisture or oily grains and nuts.

Noise during use is normal. It includes a cleaning brush, measures 8.3” long by 4.5” wide by 7.8” high, and must be hand washed. The sifter and scale attachment also fits all KitchenAid stand mixers. It measures, sifts and gradually adds ingredients to the mixer bowl in 1 step. The hopper holds up to 4 cups of dry ingredients.

The battery-operated digital scale measures by weight and can be used on the counter with the included scale plate. The box doubles as a storage case. All parts except the scale and sifter housing are dishwasher-safe. The set includes an ingredient hopper, removable sifter, sifter housing, digital scale, removable swivel chute, scale accessory plate and storage case.

Each attachment has a 1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. A KitchenAid stand mixer is not included.
