What is Customer Questions & Answers?

Customer Questions & Answers lets registered customers ask product-specific questions and share answers based on their experience. Questions and answers appear after moderation.

Ask about the product itself, especially details another customer may know from using it. For example: Does this camera take good pictures in low light? How long does this laptop battery last while watching movies? Does this computer have noisy cooling fans?

The Red KINGBOLEN k8 elite is a scanner in Diagnostic and Test Tools. Its built-in CAN FD and DoIP protocols support vehicle diagnostics and data transfer without a special adapter, which the listing describes as saving 100+ dollars. The stated compatibility includes GM vehicles produced after 2020, BMW F/G chassis models, Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles after 2017, and Volvo vehicles after 2018.

FCA AutoAuth bypasses the SGM for OBD2 diagnostics and active tests on compatible 2018 and later Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Fiat vehicles. Bidirectional active tests send commands to the vehicle ECU to operate the radiator fan, throttle, windows, mirrors, lights, horn and door locks without using the vehicle's controls, helping identify faulty components.

The source heading says 42+ reset services, while its details say 34+ reset functions, including TPMS reset, ABS bleeding, oil reset, injector coding, SAS reset, BMS reset, gearbox reset, AFS reset, sunroof, brake reset, suspension reset, electronic throttle relearn and engine power balance monitoring. VAG guidance provides step-by-step maintenance instructions for Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda.

The scanner includes lifetime free updates. Full-system diagnosis includes one-click ECU scanning, fault-code reading and clearing, real-time data and freeze-frame reading, module information, and tests and resets for TPMS, ECM, BCM, ABS, SRS, TCM, BMS, SAS, A/C and RTM systems.

The listing claims support for most vehicles after 1996, over 150+ car brands, 99% of vehicles and 38 global languages, including EN, FR, ES, DE, IT, RU, PT, JP, TU and POL. ECU coding supports offline coding for Mercedes-Benz and online coding for Volkswagen, Audi and BMW to match or initialize component adaptive data after repair or replacement.

It can also activate hidden functions or disable features. The PMI function for Ford, Lincoln and Mazda copies data into a new module. These functions do not work on every vehicle; check compatibility before ordering. SKU: sku-16634153820.
