The Kicker SoloX L7X 49L7X102 10" 2 Ohm Ferrite Competition Subwoofer with a 3" Aluminum Voice Coil Former is built to deliver mammoth, ultra-deep bass at very high output levels. Its motor assembly uses a triple-stacked ferrite magnet that surrounds a hyper-extended pole piece to create a massive, linear magnetic field and improved heat dissipation for sustained, high-performance operation. A three-inch aluminum voice coil works with a dual-spider suspension to control long excursion, while the double-pressed pulp cone and ultra-long-throw Santoprene surround provide durable, accurate cone motion. Kicker’s square cone technology and ribbed corners maintain continuous force and maximize air movement for tight, precise low-frequency response. Service and durability features include a Field-Replaceable Recone Kit, exclusive surround compression system, bolt-on spider landing, and alignment shims that remove the need for gluing. The SoloX L7X is finished with a cast-aluminum basket, custom rubber magnet boot, and a heavy-duty UV-resistant Santoprene surround. Flexible wiring is provided via a single 8 AWG terminal and a dual 8 AWG terminal block for secure connections to a variety of systems.
