The Kicker Solo-Baric L7S is a high-output 12" square subwoofer built for both sealed and ported enclosures. Its distinctive square cone and robust motor assembly deliver aggressive low-frequency performance while maintaining durability for demanding use. Key features include dual 4 ohm voice coils and a specially engineered motor structure that maximizes control and power handling. The unique square cone is injection-molded polypropylene and is reinforced by patented corner ribs to reduce distortion. Solokon 360 degree back bracing bonds to the cone corners for added stiffness, while an additional 360 degree back bracing system improves overall rigidity. Thermal and mechanical design elements include a Uniplate back plate and pole piece with perimeter venting for superior heat dissipation, thick tinsel leads, and a large ceramic magnet. The driver rides on a ribbed santoprene surround with blue surround stitching and is housed in a cast aluminum basket. Connection points are satin nickel plated, spring-loaded speaker terminals for reliable hookups.
