Model 49L7X182 from Kicker's SoloX L7X line is an 18-inch (48cm) ferrite magnet competition subwoofer with a 2-ohm dual voice-coil (DVC) configuration. Built for high-excursion performance, it uses a dual-spider suspension to provide strong, reliable cone control during heavy movement. The cone is made from double-pressed pulp and is paired with a Santoprene surround for long-lasting, consistent output. A three-inch aluminum voice coil former delivers stability and precise sound reproduction, while Forced Air Cooling™ helps keep operating temperatures down to extend component life. The cast-aluminum basket, finished with a custom rubber magnet boot, enhances structural rigidity and gives a finished, professional appearance.
