Designed for competition SPL, the Kicker SoloX L7X 15-inch (38cm) subwoofer (49L7X151) delivers earth-shaking low end with professional-grade reliability. A triple-stacked ferrite magnet paired with a hyper-extended pole piece generates an enormous, linear magnetic field to reproduce ultra-deep bass cleanly at very high output levels. The 3" voice coil and 1-Ohm nominal impedance enable high power handling and aggressive installations. Thermal management is handled by KICKER’s Forced Air Cooling™ system, which keeps the motor assembly cooler during extreme use for more consistent performance and longer component life. Rugged build materials—heavy-duty UV-resistant Santoprene surround, double-pressed pulp cone, and a cast-aluminum basket—provide the durability expected for competition environments. Maintenance and service are simplified thanks to a field-replaceable recone kit plus an exclusive surround compression system, bolt-on spider landing, and alignment shims that make rebuilding straightforward. Wiring options include a single 8 AWG terminal and a dual 8 AWG terminal block, giving flexibility for single or dual configurations without changing the subwoofer’s specified features.
