Kicker CVX102 (44CVX102 / CVX10-2) Comp VX 10" car subwoofer engineered for deep, accurate bass. This model features dual 2-Ohm voice coils (DVC) and delivers 600 Watts RMS with a 1200 Watt peak capability. The driver uses a thick polypropylene cone reinforced with SoloKon for extra stiffness and durability, paired with a ribbed Santoprene surround and Kicker’s signature double blue surround stitching for controlled excursion and longevity. Thermal and motor assembly highlights include a high-temperature voice coil, perimeter venting for improved heat management, a massive ceramic magnet, and a UniPlate extended pole piece and backplate to help dissipate heat. The subwoofer also includes high-strength insulated tinsel leads and an oversized suspension system to support heavy use and maintain performance. Built on a cast aluminum basket, the CVX102 features satin nickel spring-loaded speaker terminals for secure connections and reliability. Acoustic performance: sensitivity of 85.7 dB (1 W/1 m) and a frequency response spanning 24 Hz to 500 Hz.
