It fits conduit sizes from 1/2" to 2". Maximum capacity is 0.1" (10 gauge) for soft carbon steel plate and 0.05" (18 gauge) for stainless steel plate.
The punch is made with 40 Cr steel and 45# steel and has laser-etched alignment marks, slug-splitting dies, an adjustable ram angle and a pump pressure-release knob. Its handle has a non-slip plastic grip. The kit is described for punching stainless steel, iron, aluminum, brass, plastic and fiberglass in construction, electronics, chemical and wire installation work.
