Tweeters are attached to the grille instead of a pole piece, eliminating any pathway for water to penetrate through the woofer cone. Each tweeter enclosure contains red, green and blue LEDs that cast a glow onto the woofer; lighting is operated with the supplied RF remote, offering 21 different static colors and 21 different dynamic modes. One speaker houses the LED control module and RF receiver, with the LED power and ground wires connected to it; the included Link Cable B links to the second speaker to synchronize its LEDs. A 12 volt power supply is required to power the LEDs and an inline 3-amp fuse should be installed (fuse not included). The woofers include a water-resistant rubber cushion to prevent water intrusion at the back of the cone, feature a water-resistant PP cone (IPX5), and have UV resistant woofer grilles and cones.
