The KENWOOD DPX505BT is a double-DIN CD receiver designed for in-dash installation with built-in Bluetooth (ver. 4.2) for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming. The receiver lets you place and answer calls, end calls, and dial using the head unit controls. Apple iPhone connectivity is supported via USB or Bluetooth, while Android smartphones must connect via Bluetooth. An iPhone connected by USB or Bluetooth can also access Apple Music Radio. Voice control via Amazon Alexa is supported for compatible setups, and SiriusXM compatibility is included. Playback and media: a single disc player handles CD-Audio and finalized CD-R/CD-RW audio discs. The 3-line high-contrast LCD displays the clock, current source, and song/artist information simultaneously, and you can choose English or Spanish text. Sound tuning: DPX505BT includes 8 EQ Presets, a 3-band Easy EQ, and a 13-band Manual EQ for detailed tuning. It also offers Drive EQ to compensate for road noise and Stage EQ for improved imaging. EQ presets and custom curves can be saved per source, or a single preset/curve can be applied to all sources. Illumination and customization: the display and button lighting are variable-color.
