Overview: Kenwood DNR476S digital multimedia navigation head unit with a 6.75" resistive touchscreen. This unit does not play discs but offers built-in Garmin navigation and extensive media playback from connected sources. Designed to fit double-DIN (4" tall) dash openings and includes a license plate style backup camera. Audio & Media Playback: Plays music files loaded from USB or microSD: MP3, WMA, AAC, plus high-resolution WAV and FLAC. Built-in AM/FM tuner and Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming. Sound tuning features include Drive EQ, a 13-band EQ, high- and low-pass filters, digital time alignment, space enhancer, sound realizer, sound elevation, bass boost, and loudness. Smartphone Integration: Wired Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto compatible. USB connections provide music control and charging for Apple and select Android devices. Pandora and Spotify control supported for iPhone and Android. Compatible with the Kenwood Remote S smartphone app to select sources wirelessly from your phone. Navigation & Traffic: Garmin maps covering the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands with about 6 million points of interest. Spoken turn-by-turn directions use text-to-speech to announce road names and provide lane assistance. Optional traffic information via INRIX is available; a 2-year subscription is included (smartphone required). Video & Camera Support: Dual-zone A/V output supports rear-view camera feed and separate A/V playback. Unit includes adjustable parking guide lines and supports two camera inputs. The system offers rear A/V output and a mini rear A/V input for external devices. Connections & Expandability: Inputs include a rear USB input, SD card slot, rear A/V input (mini), two camera inputs, and a dedicated input for the Kenwood DRV-N520 Drive Recorder (sold separately). Outputs include a rear A/V output and 6-channel preamp outputs (4-volt front, rear, subwoofer). SiriusXM satellite radio tuner is compatible (tuner sold separately). Included License Plate Style Backup Camera: A bar-mount CMOS color camera with night vision is included. Its bar design fits over most license plates for faster installation without drilling. Lens and IR illuminators are vertically adjustable to improve the viewing angle. The camera features a built-in distance meter to help judge reversing distance and is waterproof with an IP68 rating.
