LLLX Folding Kayak Rack with 16' Straps sku-17172005676
No rating yet(0 ratings)The LLLX folding J-bar kayak carrier with 16' ratchet straps, sku-17172005676, is listed under Car & Truck Racks, Cargo Carriers & Ratchet Straps. Its powder-coated tubular steel J-hooks fold flat for garage clearance and compact storage. Adjustable arms move through a 180-degree range to fit different kayak hulls. Foam covers each J-bar, with 40mm padding to reduce friction and protect the kayak.
A reinforced rubber base helps keep the carrier from slipping and protects the vehicle roof from scratches. The carrier fits most square, trapezoidal and oval crossbars, but not round bars, and requires at least 1.8" of clearance above the roof. It includes 16ft ratchet straps with a tested break strength of 2200lbs and a loading capacity of 150lbs.
An anti-slip strap retainer helps hold the straps in place during travel. The carrier is also described for canoes, skis and surfboards on cars, vans, trucks and trailers.
