This kit includes two Kastar Mini V-Mount batteries and a Dual D-Tap fast charger designed as a replacement power solution for RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC2 BRAIN cameras (GEMINI 5K S35 and HELIUM 8K S35 Monochrome). Each Mini V-Mount battery is a lightweight Li-ion pack weighing only about 18.4 Oz and measuring 4" x 2.8" x 2.2" (102 x 72 x 56 mm). Rated at 14.8V with a capacity of 6.8Ah / 100Wh, the cells feature an OLED display that shows battery voltage, remaining capacity and USB output voltage. The included Kastar Dual D-Tap (P Tap) Fast charger can charge two high-capacity lithium-ion batteries at the same time and is compatible with batteries that use a D-Tap socket — including BP-U65, BP-U68, BP-U100, V-Mount / V Lock and Anton Bauer Gold Mount batteries with D-Tap input. Charger electrical specifications: AC Input: Worldwide voltage AC 110-240V 50/60Hz 1.0A(Max.); DC Output: high power current 16.8V 4.0A (Only one channel) or 16.8V 2A (two channels) for two D-Tap cables. A 4-pin XLR DC output adapter is provided to power a camcorder or DSLR directly. Charging status is indicated by LEDs (Green = standby or full-charge, Red = charging). The unit incorporates a built-in MCU that shuts down operation in cases of improper input voltage, short circuit or overheat to help prevent overcharge and over-discharge.
