The batteries are designed for extended runtime.
A mix-protection additive in the cathode guards active materials against degradation during charging and discharging, for a stated life of up to 1200 cycles. An embedded seal structure allows more room in the crystal lattice for hydrogen, reducing self-discharge between uses.
