Compact Kastar Mini V-Mount battery and matching V-Mount D-Tap charger designed for on-the-go cinema use with RED RANGER w/ GEMINI 5K S35, RED RANGER w/ HELIUM 8K S35 Sensor, RED RANGER MONSTRO 8K VV, and RED DIGITAL CINEMA V-RAPTOR ST 8K VV DSMC3. The battery is a lightweight Li-ion pack weighing about 10.8 Oz and measures 4" x 2.8" x 1.4" (102 x 72 x 36.5 mm), making it easy to carry and pack for location shoots. Electrical specifications: Battery Voltage 14.8V, Battery Capacity 3.4Ah/ 50Wh. An integrated OLED display reports battery voltage, remaining capacity and USB output voltage. The Kastar V-Mount charger accepts worldwide AC input AC 110-240V 50/60Hz 0.8A and provides DC output 16.8V-3.0A. Charger status is shown by LEDs (green for standby, red while charging). Fast charging is managed by automatic constant-current control to help prevent overcharging, short circuits and electric shock, while built-in protections guard against overcharge and overdischarge. A built-in MCU will shut down the charger if it detects improper input voltage, a short circuit or overheating.
