Compact single-DIN CD receiver from JVC with a detachable face panel and customizable lighting. Features 2-zone variable color illumination and a 13-digit 2-line white LCD display with ENG/FR/SP menu. Includes a Music sync illumination effect option for visual feedback with the music. Built-in Bluetooth handles audio streaming and hands-free calling, and the unit issues a low battery warning for paired Bluetooth devices. JVC Streaming DJ lets up to 5 Bluetooth devices connect at once so multiple users can take turns streaming. Two USB inputs (front/rear) are provided, with the front USB offering up to 1.5 amp charging; an aux input is also included. Android Music and iPod/iPhone music playback are supported via Bluetooth. MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, and FLAC files are all playable. Smart Voice Assistant compatibility requires downloading the free app to the paired phone and then pressing the Smart Voice Assistant key on the JVC receiver to activate voice control — ask for music, place calls, listen to audiobooks, catch the news, check the weather, control smart home devices, get directions, find parking, and more. SiriusXM ready (requires SiriusXM tuner, sold separately). The receiver supports Pandora Internet Radio and Spotify (Android and iPhone) via USB or Bluetooth depending on the device. Factory steering wheel control functions can be preserved using a third-party adapter (sold separately). Built-in MOSFET amplifier delivers 50 watts max x 4 channels and 22 watts RMS x 4. Advanced sound tuning includes a 13-band graphic equalizer with 11 EQ presets, K2 technology for improved digital audio, Time Alignment to delay nearer speakers so sound reaches listeners simultaneously, Space Enhancement virtual surround for two-speaker setups, Sound Response to restore low frequencies lost during compression, Sound Lift to alter perceived speaker height, and Volume Link EQ to boost specific frequencies to offset road noise. Outputs include 3 pair of 5-volt preamp outputs (front/rear/subwoofer). The unit is also JVC Remote app ready for source control from a smartphone using simple finger gestures.
